Secure download architecture
- Customer pays through checkout.
- Order is verified server-side.
- Server checks license, language, product ID and user account.
- Watermarked PDF is generated or retrieved.
- Customer receives expiring signed link.
- Download event is logged.
Never place paid PDFs in a public folder such as /wp-content/uploads/reports/public/. Use private storage and signed URLs.
